These guys were great! Worked in my house for three days in 90% weather. My attic was so hot, the smoke detector went off. I never heard one cuss word. I have a special needs daughter that they were very polite with. They also removed an AC I was using in my living room window and carried it downstairs for me. Very grateful.

Danger Level 5: Carbon Monoxide When it comes to assessing indoor air quality, it's essential to understand the five danger levels. First, we have carbon monoxide. Even at low levels, carbon monoxide can cause mild health effects often mistaken for the flu, including symptoms like headaches, dizziness, disorientation, nausea, and fatigue. High doses can be fatal. Danger Level 4: Microbial Growth The fourth danger level concerns microbial growth, which includes mold and fungal spores. Mold is naturally occurring but becomes hazardous when it proliferates in areas it shouldn't be due to inadequate ventilation and moisture intrusion. Mold and mildew, which thrive in moist and stagnant air, can exacerbate allergies and lead to respiratory issues. Severe molds can have severe health consequences, including infertility. Danger Level 3: Allergens and Particulates The third danger level deals with allergens and particulates, including dust, pet dander, pollen, insect debris, and smoke. These microscopic organisms naturally exist in your home and are carried through air ducts, following the stack effect. Dust mites, in particular, thrive in moist environments. Filtering and cleaning your indoor air is crucial when these allergens and particulates are abundant, as they can lead to symptoms such as nose and throat irritation, congestion, sneezing, coughing, and asthma flare-ups. Danger Level 2: Infectious Illness Danger level two comprises infectious illnesses like colds, flu, bacteria, germs, and viruses. These microorganisms are brought into the house by animals and family members from the outside and become airborne, circulating through the home. This is similar to how illnesses are transferred in shared spaces like homes, offices, schools, or mass transit. Danger Level 1: Toxic Compounds The first danger level includes toxic compounds that can originate from building materials, furniture, carpets, paints, and cleaning chemicals, creating an allergic reaction. Homes designed for energy efficiency can trap these toxic chemicals inside. In addition to indoor toxins, exterior pollutants like pesticides, herbicides, and natural gases like methane can infiltrate the house from the soil. Understanding and addressing these five danger levels of IAQ is crucial for maintaining a healthy living environment. Ocean State Air Solutions https://oceanstateair.com/ (401) 293-0422
It is no secret that your oven will toast your house up and cooking on a cold day is nice sometimes, but on a hot day it will warm your house up in an unnecessary way. Try to utilize the opportunity you might have to cook outside. Ocean State Air Solutions https://oceanstateair.com/ (401) 293-0422
A heat pump is a device that transfers heat from one place to another, from inside your home to outside or from outside to inside. In the winter a heat pump works like a heater, extracting heat energy from outside and transferring it inside. In the summer the process reverses and it will remove heat from your home and transfer it outside similar to an air conditioner. Ocean State Air Solutions https://oceanstateair.com/ (401) 293-0422

Change your HVAC filters regularly, as recommended, which is usually at least every three months. A good HEPA filter will catch the particles before they reach your lungs. There’s so much floating in the air our eyes can’t see, and changing your filter as recommended makes all the difference. Ocean State Air Solutions https://oceanstateair.com/ (401) 293-0422
Carbon monoxide is a poisonous, odorless, tasteless gas. It is formed by the incomplete combustion of carbon, or the incomplete burning of natural gas and other things that contain carbon. It can often be mixed with other gasses with odors. Carbon monoxide can result from the burning of any of these, gasoline, kerosene, oil, propane, coal, wood and other things. It is also a byproduct of an internal combustion engine. The CDC estimates that 400 people per year die of carbon monoxide poisoning, 20,000 more visit the emergency room and 4,000 people are hospitalized.
